Official Volunteer Badge
A credentialed volunteer badge granting access to all volunteer-designated areas of the Lake Charles Event Center.
Stage Recognition
Volunteers are formally recognized from the main stage by our emcee as an essential part of the festival’s success.
Letter of Appreciation
A signed letter of appreciation provided on request — valuable for student service records, resumes, or professional portfolios.

Open Roles

All roles are one-day commitments on festival day. Specific shift assignments and check-in details are provided after your registration is confirmed.
Set-Up Crew
The team that makes the magic happen before the doors open. Help arrange vendor booths, stage equipment, signage, and seating under the direction of the logistics coordinator.

Registration & Welcome
The first face every attendee sees. Staff the entry points, answer questions, distribute programs, and ensure every guest feels welcome from the moment they arrive.

Hospitality
Support the performers, cultural delegations, VIP guests, and community partners throughout the day. Ensure that every special guest has what they need to shine on and off the stage.

Contest Support
Work with competition coordinators to keep the A Capella Singing and National Costume contests running smoothly — from contestant check-in to score-sheet relay and stage preparation between rounds.

Vendor Liaison
Serve as the primary communication link between festival operations and the vendor community. Help vendors get settled, answer day-of questions, and relay any needs to staff quickly.

Breakdown Crew
The final team that closes the festival with the same care it was opened with. Assist with dismantling stage equipment, breaking down booths, waste management, and returning the venue to its original condition.
